Since taking his class my professional career has really taken off! Nearly everything in my DOIN (you have to take the class to find out what that is) has come true. It's damn near time for me to do another one! You don't have to believe me, just take a look some of my wins after taking Richard's class:
I booked a national commercial while taking his class and three more immediately after! I also booked my first GUEST-STARRING role on a TV Series (not co-star...GUEST-star)!
Then I got hired to be a staff writer on the Ice Cube (not Ice T) sitcom Are We There Yet? I got in the WGA, wrote seven episodes of television and got bumped up to Producer! (Told you I was dope!) And guess where this writing opportunity took place? New York, baby! That's right, I am now bi-coastal!
While living in Harlem my stand up career took off! I became a regular at all the hot comedy clubs in the city and got a standing ovation on the new Russell Simmons Presents The Ruckus. In fact, I crushed so hard, that they made me the FIRST comedian on the PREMIERE EPISODE.
I did fulfilled a life long dream of mine by doing stand-up on Conan! I did so well that I got to sit on the couch, where Conan said I could come back anytime! And I'm not supposed to say anything, but watch the Super Bowl this year and pay close attention to the commercials and you might see yours truly.
So, what have we learned? Yes, I am a pretty big deal, but so are you! And you will realize your true potential if you take Richard Lawson's class! I accomplished all these wins in what, a year and a half, and I'm only getting started.
